Comparing Online & Offline Measurement Techniques to Detect Faulty Surge Arresters (in English)
Mr. Zinck has years of practical field experience implementing innovative measurement technologies on power grid infrastructure across China and South-East Asia. He has written numerous scientific papers and presented at international conferences on topics focusing on protecting overhead lines against lightning. In this framework, he has developed advanced systems for lightning and surge arrester monitoring as well as software for calculating OHL performance against lightning, in addition to wireless thermal sensors for electrical switchgear. He is currently part of the French Electrical Norm body, AFNOR, and also a member of IEC Working Group 14 of TC 37.
