Ms. Varli received her M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the Technical University in Dortmund in Germany and started her career in 2015 at German TSO Amprion in the Department of Transmission Technology before being appointed to her present position in 2019. She has extensive experience dimensioning composite insulators for different service areas and types of lines and is closely involved in research and development efforts into this insulator technology, including electrical and mechanical behaviour as well as material science. She is a member of CIGRE and also of several IEC Working Groups.
