Defining Seismic Performance Requirements Specific to HV Substation Surge Arresters: A Practical Approach (in English)

Mr. Taylor has over 38 years of experience in the electrical industry having held various engineering positions during a career with ASEA, ABB and Hitachi Energy. His work focuses on technical support and application consulting across a broad range of areas, including insulation coordination as well as seismic analysis and testing. Currently, he is also Convenor of IEC TC37/MT4 for surge arrester testing standards and member of other IEC and IEEE Working Groups, including IEEE 693 “IEEE Recommended Practice for Seismic Design of Substations”.
