Biography

Eng. Santana graduated from the National University of Colombia in 1994, and is currently leader of the Reliability and Operations Development Team at ISA INTERCOLOMBIA. For 25 years he has been a specialist in Live Line Working (LLW) in electrical energy transmission systems. He is a Professor of the Specialization Course in Live Line Work at the National Technological University (Argentina) and Coordinator of the Postgraduate Course on Energized Line at the National University – COCIER (Colombia). He is a founding member of the Live Working Group of the Regional Energy Commission – CIER – for Latin America. He is a specialist in external insulation systems and manager of the transmission system maintenance process within the asset management framework
