Surge Arrester Application Guide: Upcoming Changes & Additions Under IEC TC37 MT10

Mr. Saboo holds a B.S. Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University in the United States. As Executive Director at one of India’s major manufacturers of surge arresters and isolators, he has led design and type testing of high-performance polymer-housed arresters and switching devices. These have included patented solutions in load-break and SMART monitoring technologies. This has allowed him to combine his foundation in microcontrollers and processors with field expertise in product design, standard compliance and real-world testing up to 400 kV. He is widely recognized for his contributions to standardization and currently serves as Convener of IEC TC37/MT10. He also plays an active role in national bodies, such as BIS ETD30 and IEEMA, and has served on the Organizing Committee of ELECRAMA and the Executive Council of the Rajasthan Solar Association.
