Latest Developments in IEEE Standardization for Cable Terminations & Joints (in English)

Mr. Jovanovic obtained his Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Belgrade and his MBA from the University of Chicago. In 2001, he joined G&W Electric where he held different positions and had global responsibility for Technology, Engineering and Product Management of Specialty Products including Cable Accessories. Some of his major accomplishments include development and introduction of HV and EHV terminations and joints for extruded and oil-impregnated paper cables up to 500 kV. Since 2022 Ivan is with KUVAG Group as VP of Product Management, responsible for identifying customer needs and technology trends, and translating them into KUVAG’s R&D product roadmap. Ivan is involved in Cable Systems, all aspects from design to field application, in Overhead Lines composite insulators, and in insulation systems for Switchgear and Transformers. He has authored numerous papers, been a speaker at local and international conferences and represents the U.S. in CIGRE and IEC advisory boards and technical committees. He is Chair of PES Insulated Conductor Subcommittee B (Cable Accessories) and leads the IEEE Standard for Cable Terminations and Joints.
