Mr. Gómez Torres is an Electrical Engineer who graduated from the National University of Colombia, Medellín in 2005, with a subsequent specialization in finance in 2011 and an MBA from Westfield Business School in 2020. He has 19 years of experience in the energy transmission sector, where, he has built and designed transmission line projects and fibre optic networks. He has also served as a Professor in transmission line design at the University of Antioquia. Over the past 16 years, he has been working in the area of Maintenance with emphasis on transmission line maintenance strategies, failure analysis, renewal planning and outsourcing contracts.
