Studying Impact of Electrical Stress on Tracking and Erosion Characteristics of Polymer Insulators Manufactured Using a Novel Miniaturized IPT Set-up (in English)

Mr. Darshan holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Windsor. For the past 3 years, he has been actively involved with ASAsoft, a prominent player in grid modernization and also Cleantech. During this time, he has specialized in high voltage design and testing of composite polymer insulators and gained expertise in pressure and temperature-dependent ATR-IR characterization. A co-author of a recent publication with ASAsoft, he is currently pursuing a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Victoria under the mentorship of Prof. Dennis Hore, with focus on automation of optical techniques for material characterization.
