Comparative Evaluation of the Erosion Resistance of Silicone Elastomers Under DC Stress

Dr. Baer received the Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz and the Dr.-Ing. Degree from the Technical University of Munich. She has worked for the past seven years as Development Engineer for polymeric insulators and sets as Head of Material Development for composites for PFISTERER. She has recently joined Wacker Chemie as Application Engineer for silicones in high voltage application. She contributes to CIGRE Working Groups related to material properties of polymeric materials for high voltage applications and is also active in IEC TC 112 and TC 36.
