Biography
Dr. Da Silva received her M.S and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in Brazil. She joined the Military Institute of Engineering in 2018, where she works as Adjunct Professor and researcher in areas related to lightning protection, transmission lines, soil treatment for grounding purpose and condition monitoring of surge arresters. After a 7 month break working as a researcher in the high voltage laboratory at RISE in Sweden, she has returned to Brazil and continues to conduct studies related to high voltage and cybersecurity applied to power systems.
